After growing up in Hamden and Cheshire, CT, I attended the University of Connecticut in Storrs, majoring in Biologic Sciences, and minoring in Physiology and Neurobiology.  From there I received my D.M.D. at UCONN Health Center in Farmington while on a full military academic scholarship.  After graduating dental school, I went onto active duty and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at Travis Air Force Base in California.  From there I served as an active duty general dentist for four years at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey, performing a wide array of specialty procedures such as third molar extractions, periodontal surgery, and mild-to-moderate orthodontic treatments.  

 

After this I decided to pursue specialty training as an orthodontist and attended the rigorous and prestigious Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program (TORP) in San Antonio, TX.  From here, Uncle Sam sent me to England to serve as 1 of 2 American orthodontists in the entire U.K., caring for a patient population of 27,000 eligible military beneficiaries.  In 2021, I was selected to return to San Antonio as a full-time faculty member in both the Orthodontics and Oral Surgery Residency Programs, where I helped the residents perform more than 200 complex orthognathic surgical orthodontics treatments and over 100 Invisalign treatments.

Armed with all of this knowledge, in 2022, I entered private practice and since then have been helping thousands of patients with their orthodontic issues no matter how big or small.  I have a passion for educating my patients and always treatment plan based on “What would I do if this was my family member?”  I continue to serve our country as a dentist for the U.S. Air National Guard in Newburgh, NY.
